Spring On The South Shore

Wind chimes are ringing
Robins are flying in
Singing of changes, spring on the breeze
Buds on the maple trees
White giving way to green
Days getting longer by degrees

Winter waves her goodbyes
Sun warm on my eyes
Feels like I'm coming back to life

Wind blows the dust away
Fishing boats on the bay
Clouds drift and fade leaving nothing but blue
Tall ships are leaving shore
Open the sunroom door
Let the fresh air go flowing through

Winter waves her goodbyes
Sun warm on my eyes
Feels like I'm coming back to life

Sun warm on my eyes
I'm coming back to life
Winter has waved goodbye
